LiveBible is a comprehensive Bible app that provides access to a wide library of modern Bible translations for both online and offline viewing, along with an audio Bible reader. It also offers a vast collection of audio and video podcasts from popular preachers and teachers.

With LiveBible, you can enjoy free access to over 60 different Bible translations, including well-known versions such as NASB, AMP, ESV, KJV, NIV, NKJV, NLT, and MSG in English; BDS-IDS, LSG, PDV, MARTIN, and DARBY in French; and NBLH, NVI, RVA, RVR, and DHH in Spanish. For your convenience, we have made it easier than ever to download the NASB (English), LBLA, and NBLH (Spanish) translations directly from our software.

In addition to its extensive library of translations, LiveBible also offers practical features such as the ability to store your browsing history on an SD card for offline use. Simply turn on Wi-Fi (when available) to connect and download the Bible for offline reading. The app also supports red-letter editions of the Bible for various translations such as NIV, NIV1984, NASB, NKJV, ESV, NLT, ISV, and WEB.

LiveBible allows you to create personal notes and easily share them with friends via email, Facebook, or SMS. You can also set up alerts and reminders to read the Bible daily or on a specified schedule. The app includes a powerful search function that enables you to find references based on context or using single keywords.

In addition to its vast array of Bible-related features, LiveBible allows you to keep in touch with your local church through RSS feeds. It also includes a built-in audio player for listening to podcasts.

The user interface of LiveBible is available in multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Italian, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Polish, Korean, and Russian.

Some of the supported translations include: AMP, ASV, DARBY, ESV, GNT, KJV, NASB, NIV, NIV1984, NKJV, NLT, ISV, DOUAY-RHEIMS, YOUNG, MSG, WE (NT), and WYC (NT) in English; BDS-IBS, LSG, NBS, PDV, FR-DARBY, and FR-MARTIN in French; and NBLH, LBLA, NVI, RVA, RVR1960, and RVR199 in Spanish. Additionally, CEI, CEI2008, LND,RB,NR1994,NR2006 translations have recently been added.

Please note that as of 11/08/2014, AMP is no longer available for download.

LiveBible requires internet access to download Bibles and checks for an available network connection using the INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions. It stores Bibles on the SD card to conserve internal storage using the WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission. The app also uses the WAKE_LOCK permission to prevent the phone from sleeping while playing audio. Additionally, the RECORD_AUDIO permission is necessary to utilize features such as recording audio notes or church services.
